Heat

According to Kwame, our property manager, the heat is turned on based on weather. Last year, the heat was turned on some time in November. However, the heat can be turned on whenever is best for us.

According to weather.com, it looks like our temperatures will stay between the 70s and the 50s for at least another week or two.

Unless things change dramatically, the heat will be turned on as planned next month. If anyone has concerns, please let the Board know.

p.s. To be addressed in another post: the cost of heating our building and how to bring down our heating bill. Heating our building is BY FAR our largest expense and chews up a whopping 17% of our revenue. That is money that could be going to our reserves or other improvements. We should look into ways to trim our heating costs.
